Books to Inspire: What Do You Do With An Idea?
This children’s picture book explores ideas and what can happen when you nurture them and don’t give up on them. The illustrations show the character’s idea as a golden egg with legs and a crown who takes on a life of its own. As the character’s confidence grows, so too does their idea. The book poses important questions to be explored with your class. What do you do with an idea? Do you walk away from it? Does it follow you and grow bigger and bigger? Do you worry what others would think. Do you share it with others? Has anyone ever told you an idea was no good?
When given space to grow, ideas can be magical, colourful and one day change the world.
